Vieux Fort Comprehensive Secondary School successfully defended their championship by defeating a spirited Corinth Secondary School Team 77 - 60 in the Finals of the Under 19 Schools Basketball Tournament at the Vigie Multi Purpose Complex yesterday afternoon. Indeed it was a clinical display by the lads from South, whose victory came as a result of their better all-round play, and the superior quality of their bench. In addition, they were well marshaled by the cool composure of their captain Givan Jonas who had an outstanding game both on the Offensive and Defensive end of the Court.
