School Sports Results Dec 8th
In the scond Semi Final of the Consolidated Foods Limited Under 16 Basketball Leon Hess Comprehensive Secondary School secured a place in the Finals by defeating Micoud Secondary 34 - 18. For Leon Hess Michael Henry 10 Points, 16 Rebounds and 4 Steals; Robert Robinson 8 Points and 8 Steals. The Grand Finals will now be played on Thursday 11th December at the Vigie Sports Complex from 2 . 00 p.m. between Vieux Fort Comprehensive Secondary School and Leon Hess Comprehensive Secondary School.
Meanwhile in the second Semi Fianal of the Under 19 Basketball Tournamrnt Corinth Secondary came from behind to defeat George Charles Secondary 62 - 58 in a very keen and exciting match up. Both teams gave a very good acount of themselves,however Corinth prevailed as a result of their better quality bench and a fine allround display by Andre Louissonwho had a Game High 45 Points, 25 Rebounds and 3 Block Shots. For George Charles Paul Clemons was very solid with 23 Points, 6 Rebounds and 5 Block Shots; Julian Agiou 13 Points, 12 Rebounds and 7 Steals and John Paul 10 Points 12 Rebounds.
The Third Place Play Off will now be played on Tuesday 9th DEcember, between George Charles Secondary and St. Mary's College, at 2. 30 p.m.while the Finals will be played on Wednesday 10th December from between Corinth Secondary and Vieux Fort Comprehensive Seconary from 2.00 p.m.
The Finals of the Under 16 Football Tournament will now be played on Friday 12th December at the Mindoo Phillip Park from 2. 30 p.m. between Vieux Fort Comprehensive Secondary School and Gros Islet secondary School.
